Voice: Quarterly Newsletter
Tibetan Women's Association started publishing the quarterly newsletter Voice in June 2006. TWA used to publish all of TWA and RTWA's activities of the past 18 months in one publication of Dolma magazine. That raised the of concern of Dolma magazine carrying very old information most of the time. Thus, TWA introduced the quarterly newsletter as the newsletter serves the purpose of highlighting TWA's events of the past three months, and also highlights Regional Tibetan Women's Associations and their activities.
We are also hoping to make Dolma magazine a platform for Tibetan female writers to publish their work. We encourage Tibetan female writers to send us their work if they wish to utilize the platform. You can email your work to Any Tibetan female living in Tibet or in exile are eligible to apply for a spot on the magazine.
TWA is also introducing the first-ever "Wisdom of Women's Words" Essay Competition. There are cash prizes for the 3 top articles. To learn more about the topic of the essay competition, due date and prizes involved, please here The next issue of Dolma is coming out in July 2007.
