Tibetan Women’s Leadership Program, December 2008
The fourth annual Tibetan Women's Leadership Program will be held from 26th to 30th December, 2008 at Tibetan Youth Hostel, New Delhi. The workshop is open to all Tibetan women who are attending college or postgraduate courses. The program aims to foster leadership skills among Tibetan women, empowering the whole Tibetan community by empowering our women
Over 5 days of activities we aim to create a space for self-expression, reflection and creativity in which to explore different aspects of leadership. The program will inspire participants, increase their awareness of and confidence in their own leadership skills, and encourage them to use these skills in their lives and communities.
Activities will be highly interactive and participatory. They will include role-plays, participatory workshops, interactive discussions and documentary projections. Prominent speakers will also share their experiences and understandings of leadership.
